Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna (SSSA) and CNIT have developed the Advanced Research on Networking (ARNO) testbed.
ARNO testbed has heterogenous resources, applying the SDN and programmability functions at different network segments: Cloud and Edge Data Center, wired/wireless access network, IP/MPLS routers and Optical Network metro/core network. By accessing the ARNO testbed, experimenters can combine testbed components in a different and flexible way to reproduce complex networking scenarios, spanning from Data Center and access network to aggregation/edge network and optical core networks and different gNB functional splits.
The ARNO testbed is one of the key infrastructures of the Department of Excellence in Artificial INtelligence and Robotics funded by MIUR to Scuola Superiore Sant’Anna and the core of the experimental activities in many national and EU projects.
